3 injured in vehicle crash in Will County

Crews are on the scene of a bad crash involving two vehicles in suburban Manhattan.

WILL COUNTY - Three people were injured in a vehicle crash in Will County Monday afternoon.

At about 3:48 p.m., Illinois State Police troopers responded to US Route 52 at Baker Road in Will County for a three-vehicle crash.

According to preliminary information, unit one was traveling northbound on US Route 52 and was approaching Baker Road.

Unit two was traveling southbound at the same location, ISP said.

Unit three was stopped westbound on Baker Road and yielding per traffic signs.

Unit one then crossed the center line, striking unit two. Unit two overturned and struck unit three.

According to ISP, the driver of unit one, the driver of unit two and a passenger in unit two were all transported to an area hospital with injuries.

The driver and passenger of unit three were uninjured, ISP said.
