CTA Blue Line track closures planned for renovation project
CHICAGO - City officials are issuing an alert for CTA Blue Line riders.
Next month, the tracks between the West Loop and the Illinois Medical District will be closed. This is part of a renovation project to remove slow zones and upgrade the power system.
The CTA will run shuttles during the closures.

Work is tentatively scheduled to begin on July 23rd.
