Driver dies after being ejected during crash on I-57

CHICAGO - A driver was killed in a single-car crash on northbound I-57 in Morgan Park Friday morning. 

Illinois State Police responded to the crash at approximately 1:36 a.m. The vehicle was traveling northbound near 107th Street when the driver lost control and struck a light pole. 

The driver and sole occupant of the car was ejected. 

They were transported to an area hospital and pronounced dead.
