Early voting in Chicago mayoral election starts Monday; here's a list of all 50 ward voting locations

Chicago, it's time to pick whether Paul Vallas or Brandon Johnson will be the next mayor; early voting starts on Monday.

Chicago residents can vote at locations in all 50 wards or at the two downtown sites starting on March 20.

Starting Monday, election sites are open:

  • Weekdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Election Day (April 4) 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This is a list of all ward voting locations as provided by the Chicago Board of Elections:

  • Ward 2 - Near North Library, 310 W. Division St.
  • Ward 3 - Dawson Technical Institute, 3901 S. State St.

Secure drop boxes for completed vote by mail ballots will also be available at all ward sites. If you would like to vote by mail, your ballot must be returned at one of these secured drop boxes or postmarked on or before election day, which is April 4. 

Vote by mail ballots are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Polish, Korean, and Tagalog. Vote by mail ballots must arrive at the Election Board by April 18.
