Explosive device found near O'Hare Airport

CHICAGO - An explosive device was found near O'Hare International Airport Wednesday morning. 

At about 9:10 a.m., the Chicago Police Department Bomb Squad investigated and removed an explosive device in the 1700 block of South Elmhurst. 

CPD said it was removed without incident and the scene was cleared.

No offenders are in custody and no injuries were reported.
