Northbound lanes of I-57 shut down for investigation

All northbound lanes of Interstate 57 are closed due to a state police investigation.

CHICAGO - All northbound lanes of Interstate 57 were closed due to a shooting investigation Tuesday morning.

Chicago's Office of Emergency Management and Communications said all lanes were blocked at 119th Street.

Illinois State Police said they were conducting a canvas related to a shooting Monday night near 111th Street.

The northbound lanes reopened around 7:40 a.m.
