Father receiving calls from around the world after sons perform viral billboard birthday prank
LINDWOOD, N.J. (FOX 29) - One South Jersey father's phone hasn't stopped ringing after a billboard advertising his birthday and number went up on Black Horse Pike.
Chris Ferry’s face and cell phone number appear big and bright on the full-size billboard in Atlantic City. It's a birthday prank, courtesy of his two loving sons.
He has been getting calls from all over the world, thanks to social media shares.
FOX 29's Jennifer Joyce FaceTimed with Ferry’s son Chris, who lives in Florida with his brother, Michael. They were the masterminds behind the now-viral birthday gift.
He explained that he and his brother have a history of birthday jokes with dad but without question, this was the most far-reaching prank yet.
"It was a neat idea. I wish I would’ve thought of it," Ferry said.
Ferry turns 62 on March 16.
