FedEx truck involved in crash off I-294 and Cicero

ALSIP, Ill. - A two-unit motor crash occurred off of I-294 near Cicero Avenue Thursday afternoon.

A red truck tractor hauling a white semi-trailer was stopped on I-294 at about milepost 13, ISP said.

A FedEx box truck left the roadway and struck the rear of the semi-trailer.

The FedEx driver was transported to the hospital with injuries, ISP said.

Two right lanes of I-294 were closed for the crash investigation.

No further information was provided by police.
