FEMA rolls out flood recovery relief to Cook County residents

CHICAGO - The Federal Emergency Management Agency is now helping people recover after severe storms and flooding back in mid-September.

Cook County residents can now register for disaster assistance.

They are eligible for assistance with temporary housing, basic home repairs and other disaster-related expenses.

To apply, either call the FEMA helpline or go online and visit DisasterAssistance.gov.
