Heavy flames took over an apartment Thursday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
CHICAGO - A fire broke out at an apartment Thursday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.
The blaze started around 4 a.m. at a two-story building at 3442 W. Jackson Boulevard.
The chimney collapsed, but there were no reported injuries. The fire was extinguished around 5:30 a.m.
