Former leader of Chicago police union dies after battling COVID-19
CHICAGO - A former leader of the Fraternal Order of Police in Chicago has died.
Dean Angelo Senior led the Chicago police union from 2014 to 2017.
The 67-year-old died Tuesday at Resurrection Medical Center. Angelo had been in the hospital for weeks battling COVID-19.
The FOP tweeted thanking Angelo for his service to members of Lodge 7.
