Girl, 14, wounded by stray bullet inside home on Far South Side

CHICAGO - A 14-year-old girl was struck by gunfire inside a home in South Deering Sunday morning. 

Police said a bullet came through the window of a home in the 9600 block of South Exchange Avenue around 3 a.m. and struck the victim.

The victim was transported to Comer Children's Hospital in fair condition with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. 

No arrests have been reported. Area detectives are investigating.
