Grand Crossing shooting leaves 2 wounded

A man and a woman were shot and hospitalized Tuesday morning in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on Chicago's South Side.

The pair were outside around 3 a.m. when someone started shooting at them in the 7200 block of South Blackstone Avenue, according to police.

The 30-year-old woman was shot twice in the abdomen and once in the hand. The 42-year-old man was shot twice in the torso. Paramedics took both victims to Jackson Park Hospital where they were listed in good condition.

No arrests have been made. Area One detectives are investigating.
