2 charged in Hickory Hills Chase Bank robbery: prosecutors
HICKORY HILLS, Ill. - Two suspects are in custody after a bank robbery in Hickory Hills Wednesday afternoon.
The FBI confirmed that the robbery occurred at the Chase Bank at 9540 S. Roberts Road.
Charges have been filed against 83-year-old Donald Bennett and 55-year-old Edward Binert. Prosecutors said the men were armed during the robbery.
A witness at the scene said the bank was taped off for several hours and no one was allowed inside during the investigation.
No physical injuries were reported.
