Homicide investigation underway after woman found dead on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO - A homicide investigation is underway in Park Manor after a woman was found dead Wednesday morning.

At about 8:06 a.m., police discovered a woman in the 6900 block of South Wabash Avenue who was unresponsive. 

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Area detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. No one is in custody.
