Infamous Long Grove bridge hit yet again

The Lake County Sheriff's Office says the bridge has been hit 49 times in the past three years.

LONG GROVE, Ill. - It was a good run while it lasted.

The Long Grove bridge was hit again — in fact, it was hit twice in just a matter of days.

The first strike was by a truck Friday and then on Monday, another vehicle struck the bridge.

Both drivers were ticketed.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office says the bridge has been hit 49 times in the past three years.
