Shooting reported on Kennedy Expressway

CHICAGO - A shooting was reported on the Kennedy Expressway Friday morning ahead of rush hour.

The shooting happened around 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-90 near Irving Park Road, according to Illinois State Police.

There were no reported injuries.

Police shut down the three left lanes of I-90 northbound for roughly two hours while they investigated. The nature of the shooting was unclear.
