CHICAGO (STMW) - A Lincoln Park High School teacher has been charged with sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy he met online.
Benjamin Zollo, 32, was charged with one felony count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to Chicago Police.
The victim was a 15-year-old boy Zollo met online, prosecutors said in court Thursday. The boy is not a student at Lincoln Park High School.
According to the school’s website, Zollo taught social studies. Messages left with Chicago Public Schools and the high school were not immediately returned Thursday.
Zollo, of the 1900 block of North Oakley, was ordered held on a $750,000 bond in court Thursday.
