Man, 20, shot and injured on Chicago’s South Side
CHICAGO - A 20-year-old man was shot and injured when he was getting into his car on Chicago’s South Side early Sunday morning.
The man was in the 9000 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue in the Burnside neighborhood around 4 a.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain in his right knee, Chicago police said.
Paramedics took him to Trinity Hospital where he was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound to his right knee.
No one is in custody in connection with the shooting.
Area detectives are investigating.
