Man, 27, seriously wounded in Lawndale shooting

CHICAGO - A man was shot and seriously wounded Thursday morning in the Lawndale neighborhood on Chicago's West Side.

The 27-year-old was attacked by someone who shot him in the head around 3 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Harding Avenue, police said.

The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was listed in serious condition.

No one is in custody as Area Four detectives investigate.
