Man, 46, found shot in Englewood

CHICAGO - A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound Friday morning in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood.

The 46-year-old was found unconscious with a gunshot wound to the knee around 9:30 a.m. in the 7400 block of South Stewart Avenue, according to police.

He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was listed in fair condition.

There is no one in custody as Area One detectives investigate.

No further information was provided.
