Man fatally shot on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO - A man was fatally shot on Chicago's South Side Monday morning.

At about 11:10 a.m., a man was in the 7800 block of State Street when he was shot in the chest and left leg.

He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No one is in custody. The circumstances of the shooting are under investigation.
