Man found shot in West Town: Chicago police
CHICAGO - A man was found lying on the ground shot in West Town early Sunday morning.
Chicago police responded to the 200 block of North Carpenter Street at 2:55 a.m. reports of shots fired in the area.
Officers discovered a 31-year-old on the ground bleeding. The victim had been shot in the stomach. He was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
No arrests were reported. Area Three Detectives are investigating.
