Man says robber shot him in the foot when he refused to hand over his stuff

CHICAGO - A man told Chicago police that a robber shot him in the foot on Sunday when he refused to hand over his stuff.

The victim, 38, said was in an alley on South Central Park near West 13th in North Lawndale around 5 p.m. when the robber approached with a gun.

The robber shot him when he refused to hand over his property.

The victim was hospitalized in good condition.
