Man shot in the head in West Town

CHICAGO - A man was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting in West Town Sunday morning. 

Chicago police said a 34-year-old man was standing outside in the 1000 block of West Lake Street around 1:19 a.m. when someone in a gray sedan shot him.

The victim was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head. 

No arrests were reported. Area detectives are investigating.
