Man shot multiple times while sitting in car on Chicago's West Side

A 36-year-old man was shot multiple times Tuesday night while sitting in a parked vehicle on Chicago's West Side, according to police.

The shooting occurred around 11:10 p.m. in the 2900 block of West Harrison Street. Police said an unidentified offender opened fire on the victim, striking him multiple times.

The man self-transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition.

No arrests have been made, and Area Four detectives are investigating.
