Man stabbed while trying to break up fight on Chicago's South Side

A man was stabbed while trying to break up a fight in South Chicago Sunday afternoon.

At about 1:20 p.m., a 36-year-old man was attempting to stop a street fight in the 8700 block of Escanaba when two women stabbed him twice, police said.

The man was transported to an area hospital in good condition.

No offenders are in custody. Area Two detectives are investigating.
