Near West Side shooting leaves man critically wounded
CHICAGO - A man was shot and critically wounded Friday morning on Chicago's Near West Side.
The 29-year-old was walking outside around 12:40 a.m. when he was shot in the back in the 2200 block of West Adams Street, according to police.
The victim self-transported to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
No arrests have been made. Area Three detectives are investigating.
