OB Edens Expressway reopens after semi-truck crash

All lanes of the outbound Edens Expressway have been reopened after a semi-truck overturned near Old Orchard Road Wednesday morning.

SKOKIE, Ill. - The outbound lanes of the Eden Expressway in Skokie were closed due to a truck crash, causing some trouble during the morning commute Wednesday.

All outbound lanes were closed at Old Orchard Road after a semi-truck overturned. The lanes have since reopened. 

The lanes were reopened around 8 a.m. Congestion and delays lingered for a little while after. 

It is not clear how many vehicles were involved and if there were any injuries.

OB Edens Expressway closed in Skokie due to crash

A truck overturned on the outbound Edens Expressway at Old Orchard Road in Skokie Wednesday morning. Traffic was backed up and drivers were encouraged to seek alternative routes.
