Offender breaks into Wrigleyville bar, steals money from safe

CHICAGO - A Wrigleyville bar was burglarized early Friday morning.

At about 7:02 a.m., an unknown offender pushed open the window of the Nisei Lounge located in the 3400 block of North Sheffield and took an unknown amount of money from a safe.

The offender then fled northbound.

No injuries were reported and no one is in custody.

Area detectives are investigating.
