Over 100 people celebrate becoming American citizens at Chicago museum

CHICAGO - One hundred fifty of the newest Americans were minted on Friday. 

The ceremony, which was held for the first time at the Museum of Science and Industry, began with a special performance by the "Hamilton" touring company cast.

The Broadway show will be held in Chicago through January. 

Each of the new Americans also received a gift from the museum at the conclusion of the ceremony – a one-year membership.
