Pearl Jam rocks out at Wrigley Field for second night

FOX 32 NEWS - Since 1990, Pearl Jam has toured over 38 countries and performed 966 shows, and on Monday, they took the stage at Wrigley Field for night two.

Pearl Jam invaded Wrigley Field and so did its fans. It was a homecoming for Evanston born Eddie Vedder, who was seen on Saturday night sporting a Cubs jersey.

Wrigley’s summer concert series is something many residents have grown used to, and for those going to the concert, living or knowing someone close by is even better.

"We got last minute tickets and decided to show up,” said Rachel Kiss.

Die-hard fans wanted to come out early Monday to the friendly confines, most of a certain age. Others, however, much younger like 8-year-old Jacqueline.

"I'm going to the concert and I'm super excited because I'm going to have a dance party with my friend from Canada,” said Jacqueline Passariell.

Pearl Jam formed almost 20 years before she was born, but that doesn't matter. She enjoys this atmosphere.

“I like hearing songs that are really cool to me and I like going with my friends and my family,” Passariell said.

For more seasoned Pearl Jam fans, they keep coming back for more because of the versatility of the group.

“It's a different show every night, it's great. You never know what you're going to get. Different set lists, it's always a fun time. Good people,” Kiss added.
