Recently retired Highland Park hockey coach dies at 96

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. - Legendary Highland Park hockey coach Wally Kormylo has died.

He was 96 years old.

Glenview Stars Hockey made the announcement Tuesday night on social media.

FOX 32 brought you his story two weeks ago when he announced his retirement after 75 years of coaching. He told us then that he still loved the game.
