Robbery charge filed against man in Chicago Lawn

CHICAGO - A man was charged in connection with a robbery last August in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

Donald Harris, 37, allegedly took property from a 33-year-old woman on Aug. 24 in the 6200 block of South Western Avenue, police said.

Harris was arrested Monday afternoon in the Marquette Park neighborhood. He was charged with one felony count of robbery.

Harris is scheduled to attend a detention hearing Tuesday.
