Robbery of Ulta Beauty store in Norridge captured on video by shopper

An Ulta Beauty store in Northern Illinois was robbed in broad daylight over the weekend and a stupefied customer caught the whole thing on video.

The video shows at least three culprits wearing masks as they stuff beauty products into black bags.

A man filming the heist on his phone — identified as Eddie Finch — is clearly shocked at the scene unfolding before him.

"Look at this! Wow. Insane," he said. "This is in the middle of Ulta, right now!"

Other customers can be seen milling about in the background not interfering with the robbery underway. A high-pitched security alarm can be heard overhead.

Finch filmed the suspects bolting out of the store with their bags in hand.

"Look at this! Insane!" Finch said.

FOX 32 spoke with Finch about what he witnessed.

"They weren’t violent and they were basically tiptoeing in there and taking their time, it was outrageous," he said. "The employees there also didn't even seem discouraged about it, they were acting like (it was) an everyday thing."

The store where the robbery took place is located in Norridge, Illinois – about 15 miles northwest of Chicago. Norridge police were not available for comment.

"I just immediately pulled my camera, started filming, so outrageous I didn't feel any disregarding, and in doing it. I mean, it's in broad daylight, it’s 2:30 p.m.," said Finch.

A manager for the store refused to comment when reached by Fox News. She referred all questions to a media spokesperson.

"At Ulta Beauty, the safety of our associates and guests is our highest priority," Eileen Ziesemer, vice president of public relations for Ulta, told Fox News. "We are aware of the criminal activity at our Norridge store over the weekend and are fully cooperating with local police as they conduct the investigation."
