Chicago woman arrested after officer struck by vehicle at northwest Indiana bowling alley

Christina Talore Lloyd, 28

A Chicago woman was arrested after allegedly striking an officer with her vehicle during an incident at a northwest Indiana bowling alley.

Christina Talore Lloyd, 28, faces multiple charges, including two felony counts of battery—one resulting in bodily injury to a public safety official and another by means of a deadly weapon. She also faces two felony counts of resisting law enforcement, as well as misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

The incident occurred Sunday at Up Your Alley, located at 1048 U.S. 41 in Schererville. Police said an officer working an extra-duty assignment at the establishment responded to reports of a large group causing a disturbance after being asked to leave by management.

According to employees, the group was using a Bluetooth speaker to play loud music deemed inappropriate for a family-friendly environment. While most of the individuals left the premises when asked, a small group remained and continued to cause a disturbance.

A confrontation ensued, during which Lloyd allegedly struck the officer with her vehicle. The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was evaluated by paramedics at the scene.

The Lake County Prosecutor's Office formally charged Lloyd on Tuesday.
