Search underway for missing, endangered man on Northwest Side

The Brief

    • Chicago police are searching for Joshua Jackson, a 44-year-old missing and endangered man last seen on the Northwest Side.
    • Jackson, described as 6-foot-3, bald, with brown eyes, was last seen leaving his home on foot near the 5300 block of West Crystal Street on Dec. 27.
    • Police believe he may be in the areas of North Mayfield Avenue, North Monitor Avenue, or near Christiana and Ogden and urge anyone with information to contact Area 5 detectives at 312-746-6554 or call 911.

CHICAGO - Chicago police are searching for a missing and endangered 44-year-old man last seen on the city’s Northwest Side.

Joshua Jackson was reported missing the morning of Dec. 27 from the 5300 block of West Crystal Street, police said.

Authorities believe he left on foot from his home and has not returned.

Jackson is described as being 6-foot-3 with brown eyes and is bald. 

Police said Jackson frequently visits the 1000 block of North Mayfield Avenue, the 1000 block of North Monitor Avenue, and may be in the area of Christiana Avenue and Ogden Avenue.

Anyone with information on Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to call Area 5 detectives at 312-746-6554 and ask for the Special Victims Unit, or call 911.
