Semi carrying 53,000 lbs of peanut butter rolls over on I-57 ramp

MARKHAM, Ill. - A semi hauling tens of thousands of pounds of peanut butter rolled over on an Interstate 57 ramp on Monday morning near the Tri-State Tollway.

The semi rolled over around 7 a.m. on the I-57 off ramp to northbound I-294, officials said. The truck was reportedly carrying 53,000 lbs of peanut butter.

The exit ramp was completely shut down following the crash.

There have been no reported injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
