South Lawndale shooting: Man killed on Chicago's West Side

CHICAGO - A 25-year-old man was gunned down Monday afternoon on Chicago's West Side.

Around 1:19 p.m., police say the male victim was on the sidewalk in the 3200 block of W. 26th Street when he was shot multiple times in the body.

The man was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
