South Shore shooting: Man killed on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO - A 23-year-old man was gunned down Friday afternoon on Chicago's South Side.

Around 3:53 p.m., police say the male victim was in the 2200 block of E. 68th St. when he was shot in the chest.

Police pronounced him dead at the scene.

Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
