Driver dies in South Side crash
CHICAGO - A driver died in a crash early Friday morning on Chicago's South Side.
Just after midnight, the sedan was traveling eastbound in the 1700 block of East 103rd Street when it rear-ended a semi traveling in the same direction, police said.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified by the Cook County medical examiner's office.
The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash. Area Two detectives are investigating.
