Street closures begin ahead of Bank of America Chicago Marathon

CHICAGO - Closures for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon have already started.

Right now, Balbo is closed from Columbus to Lake Shore Drive.

Officials will be announcing more closures this week for the day of the marathon.

Those closures will start around 7 a.m. on race day, which is Sunday.

Metra is offering extra services to help people get around.
