Man shot in the head in broad daylight in Streeterville

CHICAGO - A man was shot in the head in broad daylight on Monday in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood.

At about 1:03 p.m., a 26-year-old man was on the sidewalk in the 300 block of East North Water Street when he was shot in the head by an unknown person, police said.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in serious condition.

Area Three Detectives are investigating.
