Suburban man charged in 3 armed robberies in Chicago
CHICAGO - A Romeoville man has been charged in connection with three robberies last September in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.
Giotono Solis Evans, 19, allegedly robbed three people at gunpoint in separate incidents on Sept. 24 on the Southwest Side, according to police.
Evans and others allegedly targeted a 23-year-old man and a 28-year-old man in the 3300 block of West 62nd Place at 5:58 a.m. Shortly after, a 36-year-old woman was also robbed in the 6200 block of South Karlov Avenue.
Evans was arrested Thursday in the 3100 block of West Flournoy Street. He was charged with three felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm.
Evans has a detention hearing scheduled for Friday.
