Suspicious object cleared on Northwest Side

CHICAGO (Sun Times Media Wire) - Chicago Police have cleared a suspicious object that was discovered Sunday morning on the Northwest Side.

The suspicious object was discovered in a parking lot in the 8100 block of West Higgins at 11:40 a.m., police said.

As of 3 p.m., the Chicago Police Bomb and Arson Unit had cleared the scene and streets in the area were reopened, police said.
