SWAT situation underway on Chicago's Far South Side
CHICAGO - SWAT teams responded to a residence early Tuesday in Chicago's Eden Green neighborhood.
There was a report of a person with a gun who barricaded himself inside a residence just after midnight in the 13300 block of South Michigan Avenue, according to police.
An engine, one ambulance, a paramedic supervisor and a battalion chief are on "stand-by," but there were no reports of injuries as of 10 a.m., said Chicago Fire Department spokesperson Larry Merritt.
No further information was immediately available.
