Uber to deliver puppies on demand Wednesday

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Doggies on demand, that is the special service ridesharing service Uber is offering its customers Wednesday.

Prepare for the Puppy Bowl by creating your own puppy bowl! Uber Chicago and the Anti-Cruelty Society have joined forces to bring pooches directly to your home or office between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Here's how it works:

  • Request the “PUPPIES” option in your Uber app.
  • A puppy squad and their coaches will arrive at your location, you and your friends will enjoy a 15 minute "cuddle huddle!"

All puppies requested in the Chicago area are puppies available for adoption. If you end up finding a furry friend you would love to call your own, just ask your puppy coach about how you can adopt them!

The service costs $30. All delivery fees will be donated to the Anti-Cruelty Society and will be matched by the Animal Planet.
