VIDEO: SFPD looking for man in Santa hat who fired shots at people in car

San Francisco Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who fired a handgun at people inside a car in the Tenderloin.

The incident happened in the 100 block of Eddy Street just before 8 a.m. on December 25, 2017.

The shooting was captured on video and shows a man dressed in a Santa hat confronting people inside a black SUV stopped on the street.

The man then takes out a handgun and fires into the car. The car drives away and the suspect puts his gun in his jacket pocket and walks away. 

Bystanders on the street appear unfazed by the incident. 

The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, black jacket, black pants, red shoes and a red Santa hat.
