Walgreens investing $120M on labor as worker shortage drags on

Chicago-based Walgreens is investing $120 million on labor this year as the nationwide worker shortage drags on.

The company says pharmacists and employees have been busy with vaccine administration, so other tasks have fallen to the back burner.

They say the staff shortages contributed to lower prescription drug sales.
