Woman, 23, shot to death in Grand Crossing

CHICAGO - A 23-year-old woman was fatally shot on Chicago's South Side Sunday morning. 

According to Chicago police, the shooting happened at 5:23 a.m. in the 7300 block of South Greenwood Avenue. 

The victim was shot multiple times and got herself to the University of Chicago Medical Center before she was pronounced dead. 

Area detectives are investigating the incident. No one was in custody as of Sunday morning.
